Charles A. Fishkin is Senior Vice President of Alliance Bernstein. He previously served as the first Director of the Office of Risk Assessment for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. He is the author of the The Shape of Risk: A New Look at Risk Management (Palgrave, 2006). He received a B.A. in Economics from University of Chicago. He has previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the IAFE and co-founded its Operational Risk Committee, which has been active for more than a decade. He is one of its three co-chairs.
