Credit Risk Committee Mission Statement
The mission of the Credit Risk Committee of the IAFE is to create an active forum focused on methods of credit risk analysis and their practical implications. It assembles practitioners and researchers from academia, financial institutions, and government as well as support organizations such as consultants and technology vendors.
The purpose has been to promote an open discussion of the evolving theory of credit risk measurement and of the pricing of credit related products and its implication for the practice of credit risk management in various institutional settings, and associated public policy implications.
