The FSC Academic Colloquium brings together thought leaders from academia, government, and industry to provide their perspectives on a systems approach to study the global financial system, including the notion of systemic risk. This forum will provide an opportunity for the audience to hear thoughtful remarks from the panel, and then engage in an interactive exchange on this subject with the speakers.
The Academic Colloquium will kick-off a day of events to celebrate the official launch of the FSC and the Hanlon Financial Systems Lab. The FSC at Stevens Institute of Technology is a state-of-the-art financial research and teaching facility that supports programs at the undergraduate, master's and doctoral levels. The first of its kind in the United States, the FSC will serve as a platform for financial systems research, and the development, testing and evaluation of software for financial networks and the investigation of cyber-security challenges in the financial domain.
