Joseph Bauman is an independent consultant specializing in risk management issues. Previously, Mr. Bauman was a co-founder of Primus Guaranty, Ltd. and its primary operating subsidiary, Primus Financial Products, LLC, and was its Chief Financial Officer from 2000 through 2003. Prior to joining Primus, Mr. Bauman was Managing Director and head of Bank of America's Derivatives Sales and Structuring team for North America, and its International Financial Management Team within Bank of America's Global Markets Group. Mr. Bauman also has held management positions with Citibank's Global Derivatives Group and Chemical Bank.

Mr. Bauman served as the Chairman of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association from 1993 to 1994, and also was a member of ISDA's board of directors from 1989 through 1999. Mr. Bauman is also a founding director of the IAFE. He holds a bachelors degree from Rutgers University and a masters degree from The Wharton School.
