Description: The First International Conference on Computational Finance and Applications aims to bring together professionals and the scientific community in the fields of financial engineering and computational intelligence in finance.

Intelligent computational systems have become increasingly imporant in many financial applications, such as portfolio selection, proprietary trading, risk management, etc. At the same time, traditional techniques which represent the basic building blocks of any financial application, have been constantly improved and developed as a result of the increased power of modern computer systems.

There is considerable interest and an ever-increasing amount of development work going on in the field of computational finance and contributions from authors which represent advances in these fields are welcome for presentation at the conference and inclusion in the conference book.
